In the event of inclement weather, Meals on Wheels may close and not deliver lunches that day. With many of our routes going to more rural areas of Charlottesville, Scottsville, Crozet, North Garden, and Keswick, we aim to prioritize the safety of our volunteer drivers. Please use the following communication options for information regarding inclement weather decisions:
Our Voicemail — In the event of inclement weather, we do our best to update our voicemail message by 8 AM. If you have any questions as to whether we are delivering that day, give us a call 434-293-4364. Please make sure to listen to the outgoing message for the day.
