Want to view an upcoming route? Going out of town and need to request a substitute? Interested in filling in for an open route? We got you!
Our online portal is the easiest way for our volunteers to take control of their volunteer schedules. Once your volunteer application has been processed, our Volunteer Manager will sign you up for your portal account. All you have to do is create a password, and then you are ready to create your volunteer schedule according to your needs and availability.
Additional Volunteer Resources
Volunteering for the first time and not sure where or when to pick your route up? Curious about what part of town a route is in?
These resource sheets have answers!
As part of our mission to provide isolated individuals with a sense of community, we want our volunteers to be prepared to take helpful action if they encounter a situation where a client may be in danger and in need of urgent medical attention. The Senior Safety resource sheet aims to answer these questions, help you feel confident in identifying serious safety concerns with a neighbor, and feel comfortable that you know who to call.
Do you know someone who can’t afford enough food for their household? Are you wondering if they might be eligible to receive SNAP benefits but unsure how to proceed? Monica Kelley from the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank conducted a brief training session with our executive director, Hailey Peterson, covering the basics of understanding SNAP benefits and talking to people about them.
