Your Donations Keep Our Engine Running!
Your donations are used to pay for the majority of our clients' meals. Although those who can afford to pay for our service do, over 90% of our recipients - living on low and fixed incomes - rely on the contributions of people like you to subsidize their meals.
As an independent local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Meals on Wheels relies on the financial support of the Charlottesville/Albemarle community to maintain its home-delivered meals program.

Looking for Other Ways to Get Involved?
We are always looking for lovely, hardworking people like yourself to get involved with Meals on Wheels! We recruit volunteers from all walks of life, and the opportunities we offer are diverse. Driving for our organization is family-friendly, educational, and rewarding. Many of our volunteers take their children or grandchildren along. We also have packing positions for those who might not be able to drive.
