A Charlottesville group is handing out a total of $60,000 to more than 20 nonprofits in the area, including Meals on Wheels of Charlottesville/Albemarle. This funding will help Meals on Wheels as they expand into Nelson County in the new year.


Meals on Wheels of Charlottesville/Albemarle is asking people to “Pack A Sack” to help others this holiday season. Pick up your Joy Bag from the Meals on Wheels office and fill it with goodies for clients for the holidays.


Meals on Wheels is holding its 2nd Annual Music for Meals fundraiser at Pro Re Nata from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, September 27.


A partnership between Meals On Wheels of Charlottesville/Albemarle and WillowTree is being recognized for its public service. The software company’s app is up for a Webby for helping Meals On Wheels better serve its clients.
