Frequently Asked Questions

Whom do you serve?

We serve the residents of Charlottesville, Crozet and Scottsville and most of the county of Albemarle.

We serve those who are unable to prepare their own meals and have no one to help them.  Some need meals for a short time as they recover from surgery or illness, while others require long-term assistance as they struggle with chronic health problems or age-related issues and circumstances.

How does one qualify to receive meals?

Eligibility to receive meals is based solely on medical necessity.  Any person who is physically or mentally unable to prepare meals for him or herself and who has no one there to help in the middle of the day is eligible.  There are no age or income requirements.

We deliver to residents of Charlottesville, Crozet and Scottsville, and most of the county of Albemarle.
